SafeNet eToken Minidriver 5.1

SafeNet eToken Minidriver by SafeNet, Inc. is a Microsoft Smart Card Minidriver that enables native Windows support for SafeNet eToken USB and smart card devices. It integrates with the Microsoft Base Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) and Key Storage Provider (KSP), allowing secure key generation, certificate enrollment, and private-key operations through built-in Windows tools and APIs.

With this minidriver, organizations can use eTokens for strong authentication and PKI-based workflows without relying on proprietary middleware for standard use cases. Typical scenarios include Windows smart card logon, VPN and RDP access, TLS client authentication, S/MIME email signing and encryption, and document or code signing, depending on the capabilities of the token and the environment.
